another word barrier.
some words can not translate
to another language.
some words can not translate
to another language.
the meaning being,
the gathering of the ones that were called,
to come together with the same Faith,
to the Church that started from the Holy Spirit,
which is Single and United,
is Eternal, without end
and were miracles take places,
most important being
(after being Baptised)
the often confession and the Forgiveness of our sins,
and the union through the Holy Liturgy.
Orthodox Church is different than any other "church" i have been.
walls are filled with Icons, paintings of Saints,
Apostles, and Martyrs, and Old Testament Fathers,
and the first dessert Fathers, and Holy Mothers
and all the Holy Saints,
millions and millions of them,
all with the same Faith, Hope and Final Desire.
my eyes are filled with small lights from candles
and small oil lamps, lights reflecting on those paintings...
then there s the singing, that chanting,
it produces certain vibrations,
even if you dont know the words spoken,
all being words from the same ancient prayers,
it most certainly touches some chords within you,
soul chords you were unaware of,
there s a birth on a new pure feeling,
when Holy Spirit touches the soul,
you can see the sign on the tears falling from their eyes,
tears of both joy, happiness, tranquility, peace
and yet sorrow as well and together with the joy,
a sorrow realising how much sadness we each have provide,
with our mistakes, and our falls, and our sins,
to everything and everyone around,
eventually and mainly to even to our Lord,
Jesus Christ.
eyes, and ears,
and the smell form the burning scent,
drinking Holy water and eating Holy bread,
all senses are filled and guided,
towards the Center of the Church,
behind a small wall,
where a Holy Table is placed,
in front of which no one is allowed to pass,
except the Priest,
and that only for when The miracle of miracles to happen,
when he prepares the Most Holy Transformation.
